Larkfleet to hold show apartment opening event at age-exclusive development in Yaxley

Award-winning housebuilder Larkfleet Homes is holding a special show apartment opening event for potential homebuyers at its Spinney House development in Yaxley, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May.

Spinney House comprises high-quality, modern one and two-bedroom apartments for people over 55 years of age. A new show apartment now available for viewing on site has one bedroom and spacious living and dining facilities.

Any homebuyers who reserve a property at Spinney House during the open weekend will be given a £500 voucher by Larkfleet Homes for use in its Just For You Centre to add that personal touch to their new apartment.

The opening event runs from 10:00 to 17:00 on both Saturday and Sunday (19 and 20 May). No appointment is needed ? visitors can simply turn up.

Schoolchildren learn about building site safety with Larkfleet Homes

Larkfleet Homes has held two ‘health and safety’ assemblies at a school in Bourne, Lincolnshire, to inform pupils about the dangers of playing on building sites.

Joe Yardley, Larkfleet Group’s health and safety officer, visited Bourne Abbey Academy to speak to different age groups about the hazards they may encounter on a housing development site.

Joe commented: “At Larkfleet Homes, we feel very strongly about building site safety. These assemblies will go some way to ensure that pupils are aware of the risks of playing in and around building sites and this is even more important with the summer holidays approaching.”

Children from key stage one and two listened to Joe discuss important safety requirements. Joe also showed pupils a selection of safety warning signs and explained what each meant so that pupils could identity the meaning of building site safety signs in the future.
